Oleg Khanin commented for RBC on a major fire in a residential building in northern Moscow.

The cause of the major fire in the Aeroport district was a violation of roof heating regulations, which is the priority version of the Investigative Committee. On the night of February 9, a fire broke out on Chernyakhovskogo Street, engulfing the roof of building No. 4 and quickly spreading to an adjacent structure standing close by. As a result, the entire roof of the residential building was ablaze, covering an area of 4,000 square meters. More than 130 firefighters worked to extinguish the fire, while helicopters circled above the district, dropping water on the burning building.
